ArmchairTaikun Revealed (version 2.0)

At last, I’m rolling out the revamped version of my blog. Although there are plenty more finishing touches needed, the site structure for the most part is in place and operational – that is until something breaks.

After switching hosting service, sourcing/implementing a new site theme, and putting in all the infrastructure that I felt I needed for version 2.0 of ArmchairTaikun…it’s finally here.

For those of you who have visited/followed the previous version of my blog, you’ll discover that it’s no longer a FX trading specific thing. In fact, I haven’t yet decided if I’m even going to continue blogging about FX trading or trading in general. Blogging for me has to be fun and I felt that I needed to start fresh and take a new direction with it. Trading is definitely a huge interest for me and accounts for a large part of what I waste my brain power on. And as much as I enjoy talking about it and discussing it with others, I don’t feel motivated to blog about it on my spare time. This is where the new ArmchairTaikun comes in…

The direction and purpose of my blog now is to discuss all things lifestyle related as it relates to enjoying life now not later. Everyone has not so fun parts in their life – annoying things like having to make a living for example, always get in the way – but it doesn’t have to. If you could maximize the good-times and minimize “the grind” in your life you’d happily jump at the chance to do it, right? I’ll help show you how and it won’t cost you an arm-and-a-leg to discover. All you need to bring is honest self-reflection and a healthy dose of open-mindedness. And a good sense of humor doesn’t hurt.

About me…my name is EJ and yes I’m being guarded on purpose. For the time being, I can’t fully share all my personal details (as much as I’d like to) because of my current business responsibilities and industry connections (finance/trading). But I will tell you that as time passes in writing this blog, I will be revealing bite-sized pieces of my personal life like pieces to a puzzle. This blog for me is also an experiment…a test venture to see if I can create value in this blog for you my readers and myself by improving the lives we are living by doing exactly what my blog’s tagline says, “More Fun. Less Stress. The Life.”.
