Playing With High-Powered (Air)guns
I’ve been playing the exciting game of paintball for about 18 years. I’ve gained a ton of life lessons and skills from the game…teamwork, strategy, tactics, situational awareness, honor, respect, level-headedness, good decision making, and grace under (literally) fire. Paintball has also helped me develop my killer-instinct.
Yesterday, I played at my favorite field – New Breed Paintball in West Milford, N.J. I was joined by a few friends who all recently started playing and have quickly became big fans of the game. I have a lot of fun introducing people to the game for their first time and hearing their stories post-game of all the interesting situations they experienced…especially, the thrill they got when they first tagged someone out on the opposing team by hitting them with their paintballs. Below is a short video clip of a game that was already in progress. The video is grainy because I didn’t have the best device on-hand for this and it didn’t help that it’s a bit shaky since I was avoiding having the camera hit by stray shots:
If you ever have a chance to try paintball I highly encourage trying it at least once. And if you’ve been playing like me I’m sure you have a ton of good stories to share. Feel free to comment and share any cool experiences you’ve had on the field.

Why don’t you be the first? Come on, you know you want to!
