Playing With High-Powered (Air)guns
I’ve been playing the exciting game of paintball for about 18 years. I’ve gained a ton of life lessons and skills from the game…teamwork, strategy, tactics, situational awareness, honor, respect, level-headedness, good decision making, and grace under (literally) fire. Paintball has also helped me develop my killer-instinct.
Yesterday, I played at my favorite field – New Breed Paintball in West Milford, N.J. I was joined by a few friends who all recently started playing and have quickly become big fans of the game. I have a lot of fun introducing people to the game for their first time and hearing their stories post-game of all the interesting situations they experienced…especially, the thrill they got when they first tagged someone out on the opposing team by hitting them with their paintballs. Below is a short video clip of a game that was already in progress. The video is grainy because I didn’t have the best device on-hand for this and it didn’t help that it’s a bit shaky since I was avoiding having the camera hit by a wild shot:
